Thanks for visiting! My name is Kevin and I’m a millennial coffee addict from Seattle, WA, USA. Caffeinated Excursions is a record of my travels far and wide! I started blogging in January of 2018 and have loved writing about where I’ve been!
I’m currently based in Chicago, but I’ve lived in a number of other places in the past few years, including various cities in Brazil; Mexico City, Mexico; Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon), Vietnam; Columbia, South Carolina, USA; and Seattle, Washington! The blog currently features over 100 posts ranging from world capitals to tiny towns. I’ve written most about the places I’ve lived since 2018: the USA, Mexico, Vietnam, and Brazil.

I tell most people I’m from Seattle since I lived there for almost a decade, but I actually grew up in Indiana. After I graduated from college, I moved to Columbia, South Carolina for my first job. I lived there from June of 2017 until July of 2018, so many of the American destinations on the blog are clustered on the East Coast. Check out some of the cool cities I’ve been to!
