Thanks so much, I really appreciate that!! I am definitely not a professional 🙂 I got my camera about a year and a half ago and have just been practicing on my own. I use a Canon EOS Rebel SL2 and supplement it with a Google Pixel 3 phone camera, which does an amazing job in low lighting and at night. Kaohsiung is just a very picturesque city, especially when the weather is good! Cheers and happy travels!

They are amazing! Taiwan is of course a destination that you want to see in your lifetime, but has never been top of my list. But after reading the diverse options of what to see, do and eat (night time street market, long fries with seaweed, yum!) you have definitely peaked my interest.

Kaohsiung looks like a city waiting to be discovered by western travellers. Perhaps it will stay quiet until after I get there and leave. It looks very clean and modern.

I’ve wanted to visit Taiwan but it was one of those “when I get there” destinations. Only because I didn’t know much about it. I had just seen a couple of photos that I liked. Your photos are AWESOME and I’m all about Kenting Park, those exceptionally long fries and the dragon and tiger pagodas. Also, I love any and all things colorful so I MUST see the Dome of Light. That thing is just plain cool!
