I love seeing rice terraces and Sapa doesn’t disappoint with the luscious fields. It’s on the bucket list to hike up to Fansipan even though I know you recommended taking the cable car. Thanks for sharing the two waterfalls that you visited too. Hopefully I can visit this place in the fall season this year.

No drone! What’s so cool about Sa Pa is that the main road is built way above the valley, so all these shots were taken from the ground! No expensive drone equipment needed 🙂

The area looks beautiful!! I just got back from a trip to Portugal and the rice terraces remind me a lot of the grape vine terraces in the Duoro Valley. They are amazing to walk through, look down on, and photograph … all while marveling at the ages of construction. We spent time in the Yunnan province of China where there are famous rice terraces and could have spent days photographing.
