Rio De Janeiro is one of the most beautiful cities I have lived in, but some point, I was just too tired of always being vigilant.

As for República itself, we are planning to travel to Brazil in the next few years and we will come to Sao Paulo for a few days. When I did the planning, I did not know about República, but I see that the Theatro, which is on my list, is located there. And yes, I am looking forward to seeing the nearly endless concrete buildings in the, now, biggest metropolitan area of South America.

I had never heard of Pixo, but they are really interesting – sort of like Chinese kanji. Did you learn the meanings of any of them?

I have to admit, although all the architecture is interesting, I like the sound of your part 3 the most! I have not visited anywhere else quite like that.

Great food content as always too!

I can’t imagine how they got up there to do it. I also love the photos from the top of Edifício Itália, the city looks like it goes on forever.

I love the architecture of the buildings, and the street art. I had no idea HOW BIG of a city this was so the photos blew my mind! I would love to visit here!

I think it is very helpful that you have this guide broken out by experience level. I know I overwhelm newer travelers with my intense style. Definitely have had a handful of mishaps in my time.

Brazil has always been high on my list and I get from people “are you crazy?!” thank you for putting things into perspective that it can be visited in a safe way!

The abuse is everywhere and that doesn’t one should not visit the city. The street art and architecture looks absolutely fantastic. I would love to visit Brazil sometime!

But it does mean we will make a stop there when we return to Brazil. I would want o visit for the street art alone. And as a Civil Engineer I am always drawn to interesting buildings like the Edificio Copan. And I would definitely want to go up for the view. It puts the city in perspective. It looks like there are many great things to see on a wander around this city. So many great ideas for a return visit.
