I’m from the area,been here fir 60+ years. I’m glad you enjoyed our wonderful state park and area! Tho I’m not from Conconully,I think those from nearby Omak claim it,too. Omak is actually the county hub for activities and shopping. So I was surprised the only mention of a store was IGA and food was in okanogan. Had they traveled 3 miles north,they’d have found safeway,Walmart,a small mall,several mexicsn and american restaurants and many fast food places…I hope you can come and visit conconully and the greater okanogan county. It’s about an hour drive to the border,which is worth the trip up the valley. There’s great diversity east of the Cascades. It’s an arid area,if you climb into our nearby mountains you get the forests and cooler temperatures. It’s a great place for outdoor adventures.

The scenery is lovely. It is interesting that it’s on a reservoir but you can’t access it. It’s great that they offer such nice-looking cabins, as that seems uncommon for state parks.

Although I was interested to see they rented a few cabins. That might work for me. But always interesting to enjoy it through other’s eyes. Good tips for others looking to visit Conconully State Park. Sure is a great way to see this part of Washington State. Good tip to book early.
