That hike at Pedra Da Macela looked incredible!

They look yummy! Cunha seems like such a beautiful hidden gem and I’d defs love to try the Pedra da Macela hike. Good tip about bringing water too. That’s super important!!!

You found some truly gorgeous views on your hike! I am always keen to get out into rural areas and walk, so this is totally my cup of tea. Was it not crazily hot though? I guess i’d have to hike super early in the morning as I am not used to tropical heat!

p.s. I can see what you mean about the lavender farm, but I think I’d like this one better as it has such great views of the surrounding area. I have only ever visited similar farms in flat areas…so this one wins for prettiness.

The waterfalls are enchanting, and I specially like the look of the world’s second largest Church in Aparecida.

I agree, Cunha is definitely worth a trip.

Seriously! I could tell right away that the lighting would not be good for a picture of myself with the flowers so I didn’t even try. The gift shop had some oils and other products but they were all exorbitantly expensive. The farm seemed a bit too small to produce oil at a larger scale.

Yeah, I can totally see why a lavender farm might be considered overrated. And weirdly enough, I think I visited a mushroom farm in Vietnam last year. If I remember correctly, they were grown in these plastic bottles in a type of greenhouse that offers the low light and high humidity they need. I’d gladly go back and do another tour (anywhere in the world) because I still don’t really understand how it works.
